1979-1982, the visionary Onyx years

What more can be said, it all started with a 1969 Volkswagen van a band named Onyx and 2 Shure Vocal Masters. Spent these years touring the premiere central Florida bars and clubs such as Spanky's (somewhere between St. Cloud and Kissimmee) and the Enlisted Mens/Petty Officers club of the Naval Training Center.

1982-1985

Walt Disney World, audio engineer. Fresh from the combat tour years with Onyx, I opted for a nice haircut plus benefits.

1985-1988, the Swiss years

Moved to Switzerland, got married and found work with Sound Hire AG. I worked as FOH, Monitor and system engineer for Open Air Festivals and touring. Sometimes wearing all three hats at the same time.

1988-1990, the Chicago years

Tanglewood Recording Studios, chief engineer. These two years were spent working with Steve "Silk" Hurley, Jamie Principle and a bunch of other House and Ranchero stars.

1990-1991, the Florida year

Instructor at Full Sail Recording Workshop.

1991-2002, the New York years

Moved from Florida to NYC to work with Arthur Baker at Shakedown Recording studios. After about a year (felt like 5 years) of that I moved on to Quad Recording Studios. I was a staff engineer there from 1991 till about 1994. While there, I worked on quite a few records with producers Frankie Knuckles and David Morales. I then made the big stab at going independent.

Having made the "independent" move, I worked on various projects and genres, with a couple of touring stints doing FOH for Seven Nations, The Bogmen, Sophie B. Hawkins and various NYC scene bands. I finally landed in Brooklyn at Cowboy Technical Recording Services making Roots Rock records with Eric "Roscoe" Ambel producing and me handling the engineering/mixing chores.

2002-Present

Relocated my family to Europe. Slovenia to be exact. I now spend my time between New York and Slovenia working on different projects.
